Who we are

This website is operated by KhanLogics, based in Karachi, Pakistan. For any question about this policy, or to ask what we hold about you, email hello@khanlogics.com.

Analytics

We use privacy-preserving, cookieless analytics. It records aggregate page views, referrers, approximate country, device type and which calls-to-action get clicked. It does not set cookies, does not store an identifier on your device, does not collect an IP address in a retrievable form, and cannot follow you to another website.

Because nothing is stored on your device and no individual is identifiable, this processing does not require consent under the ePrivacy Directive, which is why you are not being asked to dismiss a banner. That is a deliberate design choice, not an oversight.

Legal basis (GDPR): legitimate interest — understanding, in aggregate, whether this website is useful.

The contact form

When you send the form we collect your name, email address, optionally your company name, the category you selected, and your message. We use it to reply to you and to keep a record of the enquiry. It is delivered to our own inbox through a transactional email provider, and a copy of your message is emailed back to you as confirmation.

The form also carries a hidden field and a timestamp used solely to detect automated submissions. Neither is used to identify you.

• What we do with it: reply to you, and follow up if we are in conversation.
• What we do not do: add you to a newsletter, enrol you in a marketing sequence, sell or share it with anyone, or use it to profile you.
• How long we keep it: enquiries that do not become projects are deleted after 24 months. Ask sooner and we will delete it sooner.
• Legal basis (GDPR): your request, taken as steps prior to a contract.

The live extraction demo

The invoice extraction demo on this site is deliberately built to retain nothing.

• Your uploaded file is held in memory only for the duration of the request. It is never written to disk, to a database, to a log line, or to any storage of ours.
• To perform the extraction, the file's contents are transmitted to our language-model provider's API. It is processed to produce the result and is not used to train any model.
• The extracted result is returned to your browser and then discarded on our side. We keep no copy.
• We record an anonymous counter per IP address for rate limiting, and a total request count for cost control. Neither is linked to a document or to your identity.

Please still use sensible judgement. The demo exists to show how the pipeline behaves, not as a place to process confidential documents. Use the sample invoices, or a document you are comfortable sending to a third-party API. For real processing under a data-processing agreement, talk to us.

Booking a call

Our booking calendar is provided by Cal.com. On the contact page it is not loaded until you explicitly ask for it, so no third-party frame or script runs otherwise. When you do load it, or follow a booking link, Cal.com's own privacy policy governs what you submit there. We receive your name, email and the time you booked.

Hosting and server logs

The site is served by our hosting provider. Like any web host, their infrastructure processes request metadata — IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp — for delivery, security and abuse prevention. We do not use those logs for analytics and do not combine them with anything else.

Fonts and third-party assets

Fonts on this site are self-hosted from khanlogics.com. No request is made to Google Fonts or any other font service, so no third party learns that you visited. There is no advertising network, no social tracking pixel, no session recording, and no A/B testing service.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. It does store one item in your browser's local storage — kl-theme, which remembers whether you chose the light or dark appearance. That value never leaves your device and is not sent to us. Clearing your browser storage removes it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and to receive a copy of it. Because the only personal data we hold about a website visitor is a contact-form enquiry, exercising these is usually straightforward: email hello@khanlogics.com and we will respond within 30 days.

If you are in the EU or UK and are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

International transfers

We are based in Pakistan, and the email and model-inference providers we use operate internationally. If you contact us from the EU or UK, your data will be processed outside those regions. For client engagements involving personal data we sign a data processing agreement and, where required, standard contractual clauses. For a website enquiry, the data involved is your name, email and what you wrote to us.

Children

This is a business-to-business website and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change how this site handles data, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated. There is no version history buried elsewhere; this page is the policy.
